Social Media Discussion Text

 Social media is a means used by people to interact with each other by creating, sharing and exchanging information and ideas in a virtual network and community. Functions for communicating remotely because social media has a global reach and makes it easier for us to interact wherever we are. Various examples of this type of social media that are already familiar to our ears are Twitter, Instagram, WhatsApp, TikTok, and others.

Social media also has positive and negative impacts on our lives, the positive impact of social media is that it makes it easier for us to interact with many people, expands our relationships, distance and time are no longer a problem, it is easier to express ourselves, dissemination of information can take place quickly, costs cheaper. There is also a negative impact of social media, namely that it distances people who are already close and vice versa, face-to-face interactions tend to decrease, making people addicted to the internet, causing conflict, privacy problems, and being vulnerable to the bad influence of other people.

Therefore, we must use social media wisely and correctly to avoid unwanted things.
